Join a virtual book discussion conducted monthly in ASL. Book themes include: Deaf culture, behavioral and mental health topics, oppression, discrimination, language deprivation, ableism, audism, atypical language, and other intersectional areas of discussion.
Discussions are designed to provide engagement and dialogue among CDI/DI/CHI/HI
Join a virtual book discussion conducted monthly in ASL. Book themes include: Deaf culture, behavioral and mental health topics, oppression, discrimination, language deprivation, ableism, audism, atypical language, and other intersectional areas of discussion.
Discussions are designed to provide engagement and dialogue among CDI/DI/CHI/HI participants via Zoom, focusing on the book's central theme, relevant topics and how they theoretically could impact on our interpreting practice and profession.
Registration: $25 per session
